Background
Jack has a huge amount of educational training behind him, he left school with a Level 2 BTEC engineering qualification, proceeded to study Level 3 BTEC Engineering at college and finally left university after completing a 3-year course with a degree in electronic engineering.
Shortly after, he joined our team as an apprentice to further his knowledge.
Life as an apprentice
As Jack is an apprentice, he spends most of his time working in a team alongside longstanding members of ACL. Although Jacks team work across a variety of different sectors and services, he finds that he enjoys working on London sites installing security projects the most as he finds the work to be straightforward and rewarding to able to see the physical finalised result at the end of the day.
The best part of the job
Problem solving is Jack’s favourite aspect of his day to day job, he finds this to result in a good sense of achievement when he is able to solve an issue for a client. Jack also particularly enjoys getting the opportunity to work alongside fully fledged engineers as it helps develop his technical knowledge, allowing him to gain valuable experience and knowledge whilst making an income.
